Seminyak Holidays

Hip, upscale Seminyak holidays offer posh resorts, sophisticated boutiques, chic lounges, exquisite temples and spectacular beaches. North of the wild surf and wilder parties of Kuta, Seminyak caters to a more sedate crowd, and the many expatriates who live here lend an international vibe to the village

Possibly the best shopping on the island is in Seminyak, where exquisite furniture shops , designer clothing boutiques, and upscale art galleries can be found in the shopping centres of Jalan Raya Seminyak and Jalan Laksmana. The village is renowned for its spas, both independent and resort-based, where pampering treatments lasting a day or an hour are given in settings of exquisite luxury. If you’re looking for a little more excitement, check out the Al Hackett Bungy Jumping Tower overlooking the ocean at Double Six Beach or take a horse-riding tour over beaches and rice fields.

Both Seminyak Beach and quieter Petitenget Beach boast gorgeous silver-sanded shores and are excellent for sunbathing and people-watching; however, if you’re planning to swim be careful to check the flags as currents can be dangerous in this area. While sightseeing, be sure to visit Seminyak’s lovely Hindu temples. Known for its spectacular ocean-side festivals, Little Pura Petitenget is one of the most important oceanfront temples of Bali, while stunning Pura Tanah Lot presides over a rocky inlet accessible only at low tide and is a premier sunset-watching spot.

At night, mingle with the glitterati at the Double Six Club or Ku De Ta, or just savour the romance of a stroll across moonlit sands before enjoying premium cuisine at one of Seminyak’s delightful international restaurants.
