Kuta has a lovely water park and plentiful companies offering scuba diving and big game fishing expeditions. Horseback riding, bungee jumping, para-sailing, white-water rafting and day sailing tours to the little off-shore islands are a few more of the exciting holiday activities available around Kuta.

Sunset is a major event along the Kuta beaches and best accompanied by a few tropical cocktails at one of the numerous beachfront bars. After the sun sets and leisurely Indonesian dinners are over, the town really springs to sizzling life, with lively merrymakers roaming in and out of live-music lounges, rowdy pubs and laid-back cafes until a pearly dawn breaks over the golden sands.
