Waterbom Bali
This spectacular water park is fun for children and adults. An assortment of water rides takes visitors through a lush tropical settings at speeds ranging from a lazy crawl to a thrilling rush. The rides have names like Smashdown, Jungle Ride, Racetrack and Boomerang with good reason. There’s a kiddie park for smaller visitors, a tropical garden, bungee jumping and everything else you need for an active, family-pleasing holiday.
Ubud
Ubud is a town filled with cultural attractions. Set in a landscape of verdant rice paddies, the town and surrounding area have a profusion of museums, temples and other attractions requiring at least a week to see properly. The Goa Gajah or Elephant Cave is a UNESCO World Heritage Site with ancient carvings and a waterfall, good for relaxing after hectic travel. At Gunung Kawi, the Poet’s Mountain, visitors can descend the 371 steps to the burial complex of King Anak Wungsu and his wives.
Kuta Beach
Kuta Beach has many ancient temples still in use by the local people. A leisurely journey down the beach is like traveling through time. Here travelers can see spiritual places like the Moon Temple, Pura Penataran and Pura Batu Bolong. Just inside the main gate of Kuta Beach is another temple, Pura Kalangan Majelangu.
